We will be participating in the One Albuquerque Cleanup Day. We will meet at Bennie Hargrove Park and split up into teams to clean alleys and sidewalks in our neighborhood. The city is supplying grabbers, gloves, and trashbags. We will serve pizza afterwards to celebrate our spiffed up neighborhood.

Come help us set up our traditional luminaria display at Bennie Hargrove Park. We will provide the lighters, candles, and filled bags. Then stay to admire our beautiful work!

Come join us at our annual meeting! Everyone is welcome. Our social hour starts at 6pm. We will provide pizza. Bring a desert or side dish if you like. Starting at 7pm, we will review our accomplishments of the past year and elect new board members.

With the help of Councilman Isaac Benton's office, RANA received a grant from the Parks and Recreation department to plant 100 trees in our neighborhood in collaboration with TreeNM. The NeighborWoods program provides free shade trees along our streets to help cool our neighborhood. TreeNM will plant the trees on Saturday morning, October 7, 2023.

Our last event in the RANA 2023 Summer Series at Bennie Hargrove Park has been changed from a potluck to a family picnic and play night (due to permitting issues for food sharing). Music & games too! ALL WELCOME! Come enjoy the park and your neighbors and then go check out the rest of ArtWalk up the street.

RANA partnered with the organization Neighborhood Pollinators Corridor Project to distribute pollinator plants to neighbors in order to increase pollinator insects in our neighborhood.

OffCenter arts provides guided art making for all ages. Puppet performers. Live, local music and a food truck.

City officials, Representative Pamelya Hearndon, members of Bennie Hargrove's family and neighbors came together to re-dedicate Washington Middle School Park as Bennie J Hargrove Park to honor his memory.
